We create custom steel railings suited to your space and design requests, typically involving powder coating for a lasting finish. Available material types include HSS (square tubing), Pipe (round tubing) and HR solid spindles, ornate add ons available upon request subject to availability. Curved railings are possible but heavily depend on material selection. We love a challenge so hit us up with your creativity!
Our Process
- You submit a request with as much detail as you can i.e. Height, length, location, material selection, finishing requests and preferably some pictures to reference what you are looking for
and pictures of the intended location. - Site visit MAY be required to discuss in person on-site via design consultation. - Charges may apply pending location and duration of a site visit – discussed prior to. We will credit this charge if we are awarded the contract.
- General estimate emailed sent to you within 3-5 days of inquiry/site visit.
- If approved – a 50% deposit is required
- Site visit required for us to finalize measurements to create a shop drawing – these are emailed to you for approval.
- Drawings sent - One design change is permitted within this step. Additional changes are subject to additional charges based on the time associated with re-doing shop drawings and any changes in material selections.
- Once you sign off (via email response) on finalized shop drawings, we will place an order for the
material to our suppliers as spec’d and place it into our production scheduling. - Cut / fit / weld / clean& grind -Stage in process. (Lead time 1-4 weeks from time of order pending schedule availability) this will be discussed – based on material selections.
Once we have created the railing (bare finish) you can come and pick it up from our shop – paint and install it yourself. We have the options to finish the railing listed below.
- Finishing stage - The completed railing is subject then to the following options:
o Painting + 1 week,
o Powder coating + 2 weeks,
o Galvanizing +3 weeks. - Delivery – drop off for you to install.
- Delivery and install – we take care of everything including a thorough clean-up! - depending on design and space etc. on-site welding may be needed for connection points which would involve any touch-up paint as required. Historical timelines average from 3-8 weeks pending complexity and selections.
